ARAUCO has published its 2024 Integrated Report, summarizing the company’s main milestones of the year and reinforcing its growth strategy based on investment, innovation, sustainability, and the responsible use of renewable resources. In 2024, the company reached sales of USD 6.546 billion, resuming its growth path after a challenging period.

This performance was supported by an ambitious investment agenda totaling USD 1.229 billion, which included progress on the Sucuriú Project in Brazil — the largest investment in ARAUCO’s history, amounting to USD 4.6 billion. Other significant developments include expansion in Mexico through the Vikingo 2.0 and Alacrán projects, the development of wind power projects in Chile, the launch of a new OSB board production line in Ñuble, and the modernization of the Puerto Esperanza plant in Argentina.

The report also highlights key advancements in environmental sustainability, such as the first-ever natural capital assessment of ARAUCO’s forest assets in Chile and the launch of the Lemu Nge satellite — designed to monitor biodiversity from space, marking a milestone in applied innovation for conservation.

“This report reflects how we are transforming challenges into opportunities. It’s not just about numbers; it’s about a vision: to grow responsibly, to innovate with purpose, and to move forward with a global, renewable perspective. ARAUCO is boldly shaping its future, and this report is an invitation to discover that journey,” said Soledad Vial, Deputy Manager of Sustainability and Impact at ARAUCO.

The publication also commemorates the 35th anniversary of the ARAUCO Educational Foundation, as well as continued progress in strengthening a culture of safety, operational stability, and R&D investment — all key pillars for building an increasingly resilient and efficient operation.

ARAUCO’s 2024 Integrated Report ultimately serves as both a snapshot of the present and a roadmap for the future, where economic growth and positive environmental impact go hand in hand.
