At ARAUCO, we are committed to transparently reporting the risks and opportunities our business faces in relation to nature, in alignment with the global recommendations of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).

Being a TNFD Adopter goes beyond reporting: it is a public declaration that nature is at the center of our strategic decisions, integrated into our business model and our vision for sustainable growth.

“For us as a company, nature is not just another resource; it is the foundation on which we build our future. Therefore, this is another step on that path, reaffirming that caring for nature is at the heart of our decisions and our way of growing,” explained Maria Soledad Vial, Sustainability and Impact Deputy Manager at ARAUCO.

With ARAUCO’s adoption, companies such as Suzano, UPM, Oji, Daio Group, Smurfit Westrock, Nippon Paper Industries, Lenzing, Sumitomo Forestry, Hoketosu, Mercer Int, Cheng Long, Forico, Fedrigoni, Mayr-Melnhof Karton, West Fraser Timber, Forestry England, STTG, and Greensphere Capital—which have already adopted this measure—now cover more than 50% of the largest forestry companies globally.
