Climate

We are the first forestry company in the world to be certified as carbon neutral. Furthermore, greenhouse gas emissions from our business are even lower than the carbon sequestered by our forests and wood products. We have also made additional commitments to reduce our emissions through Science Based Targets.

Biodiversity

We protect 142 endangered species in our local habitats. We are committed to the restoration of 35 thousand hectares of native forest and to the maintenance and expansion of a network of 166 High Conservation Value Areas that cover more than 133 thousand hectares.

Circularity

Our goal is to achieve zero waste by 2030, maximizing the use of resources and supplies, revaluing and creating added value through smart solutions.

Water

For more than 9 years, we have had the Desafio Agua (Water Challenge) management strategy, whose objective is the search for significant advances in resilience and adaptation to the effects of climate change. To date, we have developed 104 projects in 38 municipalities within this framework, benefiting more than 50 thousand people.
